Sa Torre

Sa Torre is a 15,000 square foot villa in the heart of Mallorca with spectacular sea views. Tara Bernerd & Partners was involved with the luxury residential project from the outset. From selecting the prime plot of land through to development, construction and final delivery, Bernerd and the team provided the clients with complete creative direction.

Knowing the island well, Bernerd was thoroughly versed in the vernacular building style and thus able to reference it elegantly. The use of local materials, including sandstone blocks from the nearby quarry in Santanyi, contributed to creating a building that settled naturally into the environment. Substantial windows on all three sides of the main living area were designed to eliminate any boundaries between the outside and inside spaces, providing uninterrupted views beyond.
